Engineer Ariel Santos of MV Caldo Construction shared his positive experience using the Kobelco SK125SR for the “Rehabilitation of Box Culvert along Soler Street” project. According to Santos, the machine has been highly reliable and efficient throughout the construction work, especially in busy urban areas where space is limited. He explained that the excavator’s compact body and short swing radius make it ideal for navigating narrow city roads and tight construction sites. Compared to other backhoes they had previously used, the Kobelco machine operates more smoothly and causes fewer operational issues.

Santos also highlighted the machine’s advanced safety and monitoring features. The reverse camera provides a clear view of the surroundings, helping operators move safely and avoid accidents. In addition, the KOMEXS monitoring system allows the team to check fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and machine usage in real time. After more than one year of operation, the company has not experienced any major problems with the unit.

Heavy equipment operator Peter Datiles, who has over twenty years of experience, also praised the Kobelco SK125SR. He described the excavator as one of the best machines he has ever operated. Datiles emphasized the comfortable cabin, smooth controls, powerful digging performance, and excellent fuel efficiency. He particularly recommended the machine for city projects and confined work areas, noting that its narrow swing design and strong engine make it highly practical and efficient for urban construction work.
